Everyone says it's the same game it's NOT
Playtest was better, it felt better in every way. Physics actually worked, not anymore. Gore was good, now looks worse. Weapons felt good, now they are too weak or way too OP. Kick looks more goofy for some reason. Now all the good is gone and I am sad. ):

I think people just don't know how to gauge things anymore. I have no idea how this guy came to any of his wrong conclusions. I mean, you can have an opinion. But an opinion can be wrong. And his is wrong.
Whats worse about the gore? I did notice doing round house kicks seems harder idk. Also weapons do seem to handle worse

Round house kicks feel so weak now. They feel like they have zero range. I feel like I have the NPC set to default damage when it's maxed out, and they're harder to pull off in general. Went back to the playtest and I'm nailing 9/10 of my roundhouses. The demo I'm much less consistent and feel much weaker.

I wouldn't mind kicks taking stamina to balance them, but the damage/momentum/WHATEVER nerf has really taken the wind out of my sails as far as recording gameplay is concerned.

Aside from this one issue I really don't have much of an issue with the demo. I miss kicking weapons out of armed opponent's hands.

The physics are terrible, the playtest was much better in that regard. Like why do i make it to militia in Abyss then get sent flying to far away it glitches out and makes me quit out of the game. Also the amount of time a weapon is stuck behind you or your character just falls over is crazy. Physics need reverted to Playtest version.

not to mention when you do fall over it takes 2 hours to get back up

Nah, if anything you're delusional. A majority of the complaints are experiencing the same issues and feel the same way. It feels much worse than the playtest. I felt so much more control in the playtest. Now weapons don't feel like they are responding to movements at all. It feels like the mouse movement is just a input rather than a controlled move. Your opinion is wrong to us lol.

all of the characters (myself included) seem to fall down way more often now, it's not uncommon to see them charge at me only to start staggering
overall it feels like the threshold for things to start losing their balance seems to be way more punishing
your just mean
y'all seem to forget its still a demo, and they're still ironing out the kinks

honestly i have been trying to see it from your perspective but i just can't, the game literally feels almost the exact same and if anything handling is easier. i'm pretty sure people are just mass gaslighting themselves into thinking things are different or worse when they are nearly identical.

the only problem i've definitely had is that damage affects your movement more than originally so you can wobble and fall over a little too quickly, and the pitchfork is more unwieldy than before (probably since it was too busted for a peasant weapon)
