MULTIPLAYER
Okay, so this game with AI and all Is honestly amazing the AIs are surprisingly good (not perfect YET). I love playing this game and cooking and stuff but when this game comes out, not many people are going to get it if it does not have multiplayer.

Me and my friend were just playing this game and we were discussing about this game's multiplayer potential. If this game develops multiplayer that would be great, but there are many obstacles. Making a physics based fighting game multiplayer would be very difficult considering how lag and rendering the physics of other players would be hard to do. Though all that, this game would be so much more successful with multiplayer when it fully comes out. They have already done some testing on this aspect but they plan on perfecting the single-player point of this game.

In my personal opinion, I love this game either way just multiplayer would make that even better than it is.

Oh right, I would definitely buy this either way.

What engine is the game using? I have to try this out later as I've been meaning to. Physics based unity games are indeed near impossible so it's probably not on the menu if they are using unity and or are a very small team. Undisputed boxing tried to make it happen with unity and it has been a giant disaster. Part of the issue in that example was the community was so split between focusing on the online networking and others on the offline career mode. The result was very little progress for all of the areas of the game due to having too many issues that needed a lot of time, development and resources. It would be nice if this game delivers the ideal performance and vision they have for single player and maybe down the road an online mode could come in a major development update pending how the game is doing financially? Time will tell.

The game uses Unreal Engine 5, and I am pretty sure the team consists of 14 people. It is just that their main goal is perfecting single-player first.

Unreal engine 5, that's very impressive. Also a very small team indeed. Looks like they have done some good quality work so far. Online is obviously the grail goal for most, but I can totally appreciate trying to perfect the single player experience initially. Like I said, maybe if the game does well, it will allow the development of the online functionality and deployment.

I have seen a "Split Screen mod" on the Nexus, for the Demo. It works only with controllers (I can't imagine how hackish the mod truely work)
To be fair, I would be content already with that as a built-in feature, only if it doesn't cost any real development time from the project itself.
Buying it, either way!
