who the ♥♥♥♥ is this scythe guy with black clothes? every time i reach this guy i die so quickly !

He's the first boss, make sure to get up close to him before he swings his scythe, dual knives or axes usually work well on him, and don't let up even when he falls cause he can get back up with dual sickles. Take his weapons too cause they're better then most weapons

Scythe guy, also known as the grim reaper, is the first and most badass boss in the entire game next to the player, he would be pretty OP is the ai wasn't so buggy though (even though I lost to him 16 times).

if you rush him while swinging like a maniac he will drop quick enough.

if you beat him you get his scythe which allows you to MOW down everything after that

That dude definitely wrecked me A LOT. I accidentally beat him the first time and didn't realize what a gift that was at the time. Definitely rush him.

Scythe guy is super easy if you just rush him. Don't bother picking up his weapon, scythe is pretty buggy, stick with axe/sickle until you get to level 3 and get sword/mace.

use axes then pick up the scythe and right click and use it like that it works every time ive done it to be exact about 100 times this has worked

i die pretty much everytime with the scythe since at somepoint it bugs and flies away at 600kmh and knocks me down just to get stabbed to death by sword guy

true or i just cant get it since it decides to fly away

i kinda cheated it a little bit by slightly lowering the NPC to Player damage and slightly raising the Player to NPC damage, but aside from that long range weapons like his scythe or the long handle spear work a treat on him, just make sure you swing first and if you swing into the arm he is holding the scythe, then it temporarily prevents him from swinging.
