Dx12 lagging more than Dx11 on the playtest

In other games Dx12 usually performs better than 11 but in the playtest this is not the case
In Dx12 i cant even go back to the main menu without crashing

Do you know how I can switch back to Dx11 without doing it in the game? Is there a game file? I cant even launch the game now

I think i used to know but i forgot since i havent been playing the game that much recently

Turns out you can use the steam launch commands to make sure it boots in DX11. Right click game in steam, properties, general, launch commands, the you type -dx11 and you're done
