what direction does the dev plan on taking this game?

this game is fun and lots has lots of potential, but its essentially just a deadly wiffle bat simulator at the moment. is it gonna end up becoming something more serious or silly?

What is released on steam is a tech demo/vertical slice showcasing the combat and gore mechanics.
