does armor do something?

it seems only enemy armor does something, for example what really bugs me is when i got a gorget and a guy with a little dagger just ignores that ♥♥♥♥ and stabs me in the throat

Yes it does, but just like real world armor there are gaps that blades can slip through.

You can also slip a kitchen knife under the reapers bevor (gorgets have not been added in yet).

In the latter rounds with full armored enemies a dagger is your best friend.

yeah that makes sense, its just that they dont slip through gaps they go right through the steel with their swords

It needs refined for sure. When you have full plate armor it happens far less, but with just the early breast plate and bevor throat lashes manage to get through sometimes.

yeah there has to be gaps and such or your just a brick a metal but the more armor you get the less of a chance slashs and stabs can get thought i say try to keep your distance
