What is up with the 4th boss?

The 1st boss is always the hardest because the limited weapons. After you get your hands on the scythe he wields its smooth sailing from there up until the 3rd boss which is a lightly armored dude with an axe flanked by two others with shorter axes, all with backup falchions. This is where I noticed that the armorless dudes were harder to kill for some reason, but I still did it. Then I got to the 4th boss. By the time I got to him I was fully armored. He is also fully armored except his arms and wields two swords. You'd think that your goal is to hit his arms but NOPE, no matter how hard you keep hitting they just don't come off. Meanwhile he hits you once, doesn't matter if you're wearing armor, you're dead. It's like he just arbitrarily has a health bar just simply to make him harder and its dumb.

1st boss is so easy. Just use a knife, close the distance, hold alt, and just shank the ♥♥♥♥ out of him

ITs all about the type of weapon you're using, after the third boss blunt is pretty much king just one thwap to the head its game over

I figured that one out myself but even then, it just gets to the point where you pin a heavily armored guy to the ground and start wailing on his face with a mace for 5 minutes straight for them to finally die, which is honestly pretty disappointing for a "realistic" game. I've seen someone use a strat where they equip three great shields and armor and just become a walking tank just to keep surviving because after boss 4 its less about who strikes first and more about who survives a concussion the longest.
