why the ♥♥♥♥ the 3rd boss in full armor while i only SOMETIMES get a neckguard and he has 2 highway men that will instakill you and somehows hit your hand no matter what weapon you have

if you are just trying to get past the third boss use the scythe from first boss, by far the best way to melt all three of them but after 3rd boss drop it and run around and gear up before killing boss 4 hes a real ♥♥♥♥♥. good luck!

i really don`t wanna use that thing. It removes all the challenge, but i may try that the next time i get to em.

Where are you guys fighting "bosses" anyway? Did I not run around long enough and get to a higher level or something?

The Grim reaper is the first boss, the guy with the Scythe. Everytime you kill a boss you get this img that pops up after. That's how you know it was a boss fight.

Blunt weapons like hammers, or get a sword (preferably something long), switch grips by double right clicking(one hand on the blade), then run him through his armor.
Spear also sometimes glitches through armor, very annoying but the player can use that too.
His highway men have exposed skin on their faces so you can just slice through that and 1v1 the boss.

the armored guy isnt even a problem, the thing is that they swig so fast and hard that blocking is useless and my attacks with an axe or a long short sword can`t even scratch them

If he's the one I'm thinking of, his upper arms are usually unarmored, so even if you don't have a mace it's easy enough to disable his arms or chop them off with a solid swing from a sword or the two handed axe.

I beat him and the other bosses after him first try (to be fair, it was with strong weapons and abusing the AI, and still lost my weapons mid fight, but I beat them, that's all that matters), so I don't know how to help you except for some info with is cheese: there is a setting in the game menu that let's you alter the damage to you and done by you (I wold't recommend this, cause you'll form bad habits, but it's up to you).

Pretty sure it's a points system: the more damage I do to enemies the less enemies I fight between bosses, and if I just disable them and move on I fight upwards of 2x the enemies before I fight a boss.

Can confirm, I mutilate them and get to first boss within 10 people.
