Yeah, lol. Two of those short broad-bladed axes turn you into a human lawnmower. Best setup until you start picking up swords.
The stool begs to differ.
Also the hammers I got are for crushing enemies nuts and heads because killing people with a stool takes a long time, and it is no nut november either way.
I find semi-methodical swordplay where I try to act as if I'm a swordsman much more enjoyable than just flailing my arms around until the enemy dies, its more fun when its endless enemies after the final boss and they're all full arm leg and chest protection with random chance for a neck guard and/or shoulder pauldrons and you actually have to do it methodically every time. Flailing with knives is the thing you do until you get past the first boss, then it is real swordplay time :3
for sure. for spearmen i've found just straight up tackling them and going wild with short swords/knives is the way to go.
like in real life an idiot can lose even with a sword against someone with a knife who uses his weapon in a more effective way!
stay def and wait your enemies mistake for example a whiffing attack and go for the punish but also check your back (i do even in a fight randomly a 360 to check there are no adds) - don't walk just towards your enemy and try to attack - even with the best weapons you may lose
i love it how a simple and unfinished game can be so good (compared to 2023 AAA games) :D
