Actually using spears yourself is as much fun as fighting them. No timing swings, no aiming for body parts, and no chopping of limbs. Just lower your spear and run at the enemy. With that many game mechanics out the way, why don't we just add a big green healthbar on top of everyone?
The game would just be way more fun if it wasn't for spears.
The scythe barely needs to touch your character in order to cut the body in half and the spear can stab and miss and then just casually tap the side of your face/neck and insta kill your character.
And also nerf the blunt dmg and force impact of the spear. If it is not possible to change the "sharpness" of the tip then maybe make the dmg only be applied when it is in the release phase of a stab. Right now it is more viable to just swing the damn thing around because it destroy anything it touches as if it was a chainsaw on the top of the shaft.
Getting past the tip was never the issue, it was the massive blunt damage they did at close range.
