"Fatal Error" repeatedly happening:
Try setting your FPS to limit to 60, as well as enable Vsync. These are the only two fixes I and others have found so far, although one other "solution" I've found is not wearing any clothes during your run. It can increase the longevity between crashes.

Tip for finding "Appdata" for the next fixes, click Windows+R, then type "%appdata%" (or "C:\Users\(Your Username)\Appdata\" if that doesn't work) into the field.

Fatal Error on startup
This is caused by your Save_Crash file going awry in the data folder. Navigate to
C:\Users\(Your Username)\Appdata\Local\HalfSwordUE5\Saved, and then delete the entire SaveGames folder. It will fix the problem and the folder will automatically regenerate upon playing the game again.

"VHS" Effect on high graphics
This occurs when using an AMD system. Navigate to
C:\Users\(Your Username)\Appdata\Local\HalfSwordUE5\Saved\Config\Windows, click GameUserSettings.ini, and change "sg.EffectsQuality" to = 0. Make sure your graphics are set to your desired quality beforehand, because altering them in game after making the fix will reset EffectsQuality back to the appropriate (or, in this case, inappropriate) level. ‎ ‎ Fixed!

Flying across the map
Drop your weapons that are close to each other. Two bucklers on one hip, a buckler next to a sword, a mace next to a sword, an item on your hip bumping into your polearm, etc, are examples of "problematic" items. Try dropping the one you need the least, or drop everything except for the item in your hand and one on your hip (preferably one that your weapon wont be knocking into when you swing it).

Bodies being too easy to dismember
Increase "Body Density" in your gameplay settings. If you want it to be easier, decrease it.

Sometimes my weapon just flies out of my hand into the air after I kill a guy, usually its the scythe but it sometimes happens with small swords :(

There's another common issue: Game does not save your settings at all. I have to re adjust them every time I open the game.

the crash protection is no longer working. normally when I get "Fatal error" I reboot with the same(ish) weapons and at the same stage but that's no longer happening.

Hello, I am having issues with the game. Whenever I die and press on restart, the whole PC just freezes, I tried to wait for 15 and it was still stuck so I had to force shut the computer. Anyone knows fix to this? I tried to redownload the demo and even validate game files, didnt help. Thanks in advance!

There seems to be a bug where a weapon is sheathed into a slot that is already occupied and this means two weapons are stuck together and glitch or the weapon is stuck in that holstered position. This also shows the same weapon in two slots in inventory. This seems to effect the characters balance and could be a cool damage game mechanic if it was more subtle. It appears the weapons size effects how detrimental it is to balance.

If anyone finds a quick fix for removing the weapon from inventory or a drop all command please tell me.

The demo had a fatal error on the warning screen. I have a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with 4 Gb display RAM. I had the Unity editor running in the background though. When I exited Unity the game would start up.

One of the maces got glued to my character's left hand. Couldn't drop it, if I tried to sheathe it the mace would get stuck in the character's body and knock me over, when I tried to switch hands it'd glue my hands together

Spears sometimes cause so much blood that the games slows down to a crawl. Swords and shields, especially when sheathed on AI bots, tend to glitch a lot.

games fun but a few times now ill holster a weapon and it gets glued to the side of my character where I cant grab it and trying to gets my arm stuck in combat. Very frustrating.

BUG FOUND: the player will limp when taking damage on right hand, i try to run away with my character acting like he got cut up on bottom legs and i mean both (legs) and felt
like i'm being pulled in to fight, please don't input aim assist or make character limping if he
took damage on right hand or even left, because if ENEMIES CAN RUN AWAY WITH BOTH ARM CUT OFF AND RUN FASTER THAN THE PLAYER ITS NOT FUN when it happen to us.

I have a bug with camera. After updating the game when I started new run my camera started spinning diagonally to the right. I can barely pick any weapon but I`m unable to swing or sheath them. I can only move around the map. Anybody had the same problem? How to fix it?

You probably have a controller plugged in that's not handled by the game.
