Scythe too op

just dont fight them unless you want their scythe, you can run away and they'll despawn

edit: well that was before the update, now there is only 1 scythe enemy and you have to fight him so just: Get a pitchfork and stab him once from range, or rush in with a shield and knock him over. I managed to beat him with no weapons because game crashed right after I dropped mine

Its literally not. Hes got more hp and hes just insanely powerful because of the scythe. Ive literally had an encounter with him where I just rushed him with axes, gorged him about 4 times in the chest and stomach and he was fine. Yet he literally just grazes you and your character crumbles lmfao.

Frankly, The spear is more annoying than the Scythe. Scythe, you just get super aggressive and get in super close or you just block or parry it, spear they usually already have it levelled at you, and its pretty hard to bat it aside unless you're super precise. its a 70% chance of insta-dying unless you get lucky and they go for a swing instead.

The spear is way more overpowered than the spear. It's ridiculous how quickly it one-shots everyone, incredibly dangerous to push on, way more than the scythe which is only dangerous for its slicing power and very awkward to use.

I agree, spear enemies are way more risky in terms of being run enders than the Scythe boss.

I've actually found that a good way to deal with him is to drop a 2handed weapon and dualwield two 1handers. Basically you want to close the distance before he attacks, and then swing into him from the opposite direction he is readying the scythe. This part is VERY important because, as you have noted, his scythe is so sharp that simply having your weapons clash with it can cause you to be dismembered. Alternatively, and this is riskier because of his armor. just bumrush him and chop downward with 2 axes. Either way, after you land the hit just start wailing on him so that he doesnt get a chance to attack twice.
