Level Four Revive Materia Episode Two: The Squeakquel
THE ACHIEVEMENT ISN'T CODED INTO THE GAME, AND CHRISTINE LOVE HAS ALREADY STATED SHE WILL NOT BE MAKING FURTHER CHANGES TO IT. HOWEVER, WE ARE OFFERING A THOUSAND HUG REWARD TO ANYONE WILLING TO BRUTE FORCE UNLOCK EVERY CONCEIVABLE NAME FOR THE ACHIEVMENT IN THE HOPES OF 100%ING THIS GAME.

Prior to learning that, we tried:

-Dialogue options.
-Reading particular logs in a certain order.
-Messing with the clock to change the date.
-Setting the clock back to when *Mute supposedly offs herself.
-Leaving the game running for 12 hours instead of powering down.
-Digging through the game's code (the achievement isn't coded in).
-Using tools like SAM to manually unlock the achievement.
-Patching in the achievement manually.
-♥♥♥♥ing off Christine Love.
-Clicking "Enable AI" before "Emergency Diagnostic."
-Running a debug after "The Death of *Mute," but before shutting down.
-Ignoring the inbox.
-Trying to do anything with the 70 files needing to be "fixed" after the game runs. (Just an engine issue.)
-Sending photos of grilled cheese sandwiches to cheese@hateplus.com.
-Getting New *Mute into the hanbok.
-"Hm, I wonder~"
-Looking for clues in Christine Love's achievement progress on her own game.
-Entering the Konami Code.
-01189998891119997253
-Chekov's Gun
-"lol" and "youwillneverguessthisname."

If I missed anything, let me know and I'll edit it in.

SAM doesn't work I just want to repeat that for anyone who thinks it might work.

I wanna thank you all for this thread so far
Here is something that I thought of when playing some other games that had achievements: In Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes; you gotta repeatedly do something in order to obtain the effect (Like raking the leaves) I was thinking that perhaps doing the "Enable AI" before going to emergency diagnostics and clicking that a whole bunch of times might achieve the effect?

NOPE! :)

Well for Edna & Harvey it took like maybe 50 or like 5 minutes of doing it to get the achievement, so maybe its like the gas mower thing heh.

maybe sending cake@hateplus.com artwork of new*mute in the attire would work.

Maybe everyone as been barking up the wrong tree the whole time... throughtout the harem route Mute is insistent that her and Hyun-ae share the same code. What if the achievement is for reviving her through Hyun-ae's route rather than Mutes. I couldn't say for certain, but if it was possible to copy Hyun-aes data to Mutes core in Analouge, it probably is possible to do it the other way round... All i'm suggesting is that it's entirely possible tat people have been going wrong from the very first step.

Note the part where this achievement isn't coded in.

You make a good point :P Unless it was hid somehow (which is highly unlikely), the only explanation is really that it's a timed thing and considering the mention of the lunar new year I geuss that's the best geuss :S

That is also covered above.

Honestly, the only thing that hasn't been ruled out, which is a future patch adding it in, is also the only thing we can't actually test, so...

New thread smells wrong.

"-Running a debug after "The Death of *Mute," but before shutting down."

Not sure if this is what you're referring to but for posterity, running a game cache integrity verification will always result in 70 files needing to be "fixed" after the game runs. This is a Ren'py issue, happens in Analogue and other VNs.

It means running the emergency diagnostic I imagine.

By "debug" I meant "emergency diagnostic," as in the button you press to activate New *Mute. I thought this was obvious given what's listed right above.
