Are Dead End canon too?

I know that the 3 routes actually happened in parallel realities, but does the same happen with Dead End, or is this just gameplay stuff?

Theoretically. they can all be cannon. Every single death and bad end can be cannon in at least one timeline. We know this because parallel realities are actually brought up at a certain point in Fate Stay Night. And timelines are talked about at length in different fate related works. While I don't believe it has ever been confirmed, everything needed to make it work is there.

If we wanted to go really deep, we could talk about the root of Akasha which essentially is the source of every reality and timeline that could or has a possibility of happening.

Cool part about Fate: we get no actual timeline in this franchise because the way Nasu decided to get around plot holes is by having branching timelines all be canon. This is how all routes are technically the canon one in any Fate game that has branching plots. That part is especially relevant in the Extella games.

In short, yes. If it's remotely related to the Nasuverse, it's canon. Even the fanmade stuff

The fanmade stuff to an extent. Keep in mind that while there are limitless possibilities, not everything is possible. That also goes for certain NSFW doujins where there's no possibility of a character acting like how they're portrayed. So basically, anything official is canon, and only the fanmade stuff where the situation is a possibility is also canon.
