A few questions about affection points and endings (no spoilers pls, sry for bad English)
On the Fate route if you don't have enough points for Saber, you will get a "bad end", i learned this the hard way when Taiga and Ilya bullied me for playing the wrong way (I was rooting for Rin). When I play the games with different endings I like to save true endings for last. So, there is what I want to know before continuing the game:
1. In each of other 2 routes is there one girl that you're supposed to root for, like Saber in Fate? If the answer is "yes", then which girl is the "main" for which route?
2. Does it work like in the Fate route and to get a true ending you must achieve some min amount of affection points with one or another character, or are there is other factors?

1. Yes. Unlimited Blade Works in the Rin route, and Heaven's Feel is the Sakura route.
2. For UBW, there is a forced bad end for not having enough Rin points (that you can still reach manually with a choice), but there's also a Good Ending and a True Ending depending on how many Rin points you have relative to Saber points. For Heaven's Feel, there's a couple Sakura point checks throughout the story, and I think one Illya point check as well. But you'll be able to get both the Good and True Endings as long as you make it to the end.

So, correct me if I'm wrong.
For UBW:
- Rooting for anyone but Thosaka = Fate-like bad end
- Rooting for Thosaka = True/Good(?) end
- Rooting for Thosaka AND Saber = Good/True(?) end
For HF you just need to root for Sakura and Illya

More or less. But there aren't really opportunities to try and go for girls outside of their respective routes aside from what I mentioned. It's more a matter of "don't ignore the main girl".

Fate and UBW routes are rather lenient with the minimum affection points you need to have in order to not die at a certain point of the route. HF on the other hand can be quite brutal because it has three different points where it checks whether you have enough affection with Sakura/Illya.
