Fate/stay night REMASTERED

What is your favourite Nasu work? And if it is not Fate/Stay Night, how does Fate/Stay Night compare to your favourite?
Mine would be Tsukihime so far. I tend to like grittier darker psychological horror. Fate Stay Night is great but doesn't have that yet for me. I have not read Heavens Feel yet, I hear that Heavens Feel does lean into those themes though, but I doubt it can top what Tsukihime has so far. I like how batsh*t insane Shiki is and how ruthless as a killer he can be.

Fate/Hollow Ataraxia.
It just hits ALL the right buttons with me
Yooo Hollow Ataraxia slipped my mind. I think I enjoyed it even more than Stay Night. I'm so hyped for its remaster because I lost my copy.

You LIKE that it’s a kinetic novel???
what's wrong with kinetic novels?
visual novels are made unique because of the choices and different outcomes of the story. that's the main reason why many visual novels can't be adapted into anime besides the inner thoughts of the protagonist. I feel the inner thoughts part is pretty overblown for most vns though, only a few have protagonists with interesting thoughts, the rest just have average joes as the protag who think like literal NPCs. Anyway having route branching creates stories that would've been impossible in other mediums. For example, most stories will always have the protagonist be the "good guy", or the main heroine will always win. In good visual novels the player can decide what role the character takes in the story.

I personally loved Witch on The Holy Night. And lack of choices isn't a bad thing. It's a story you can just sit back and read. I think a lot of people think that visual novel equals weird presentation and no other reason to use the format except for branching choices. But this format works well for telling a story in my opinion. Lots to like about it.

EDIT: Also wow, just realised it's gruglas again. Surprised he's hanging around these forums if he considers Fate Stay Night slop for people with underdeveloped brains. Almost like he's sticking around just to make trouble. Since he clearly hates Fate Stay Night.

Right, kinetic novels aren't inherently worse or better than visual novels
Its weird to think otherwise

???? kinetic novels are literally fine, instead of having to rely on branching routes to flesh out the story -----if a kinetic novel is considered good that means the story has to be THAT good. You don't need branching routes to make a well written story.

edit: Oh it's gurglas again.

Gurglas is like the bad guy in a generic fantasy anime
Man makes people stop arguing and ♥♥♥♥ just to dunk on his bad takes

The anime adaptation are brilliant, an their translation is really good. The novels' translation is not good, but their brilliance still shines through. They are THAT good. So yes.
