How essential are 18+ scenes?

I heard that this version doesn't have the 18+ so I was wondering if the 18+ scenes are important to the game or they don't add much to the overall experience?

not essential at all though HF ones do have slight plot relevance which I'm not sure is the same in the RN scenes

The scenes are relevant to the plot, but the replacement scenes perform the same function. At worst, I'd say Heaven's Feel loses a bit of impact in Sakura's character development, but that's it. Narratively, you aren't missing anything essential.

The scenes themselves aren't really important (they suck lmao). However, the Realta Nua port not only replaces those scenes, but also cuts out any NSFW dialogue. While this doesn't take much away from the Fate and UBW routes, it does take away from the Heaven's Feel route. I didn't read the censored HF route, so don't take my word for it, but if it removes any mention of what she thinks Shirou would think of her due to what happened to her body or the abuse she endured from Zouken and Shinji, that probably undermines her character.

Again, I didn't read the HF route censored, so don't take my word for it. I do not know how Realta Nua handeled it.

The scenes themselves are negligible at best. I personally find the Realta Nua alternatives superior as far as the scenes themselves go, but as people have pointed out, the problem stems less from their exclusion and moreso other text that was censored in Realta Nua to meet age ratings.

Essentially, some themes in Heaven's Feel end up turning to subtext rather than outright text. Your mileage may vary on how much it impacts it. The unfortunate fact is that due to all this discourse, very few people actually played the pure Realta Nua version of Heaven's Feel, and can't really account for it. The post that goes around about the movie adapting the 18+ version is wrong, though. There is still sex in Realta Nua, it's just implied rather than shown.

Ultimately, I think you're fine playing this version and not miss out on anything. If anything seems off to you, you can just read about it later. The vast majority of the game is untouched, and what *is* touched isn't touched beyond salvation.

They are essential especially for part 3 Heavens feel This scene appear even in the movie so it was deemed relevant

Not that essential, honestly. Mayne more important for Heavens feel, but you only need the implications rather than the full graphic scene. Not aure how realta nua handles it.

The sex scenes were complete and utter garbage. When I played through the original, you went from the story, in a F-15, going Mach 2.5, to sudden surprise sex scene that felt like you took that same F-15 and rammed it into a brick wall. It was very jarring and very clear that they were put there for money. I am shedding no tears for their removal. They were terrible from the start.

Honestly they mostly make more sense in the Heaven's Feel route for being important.

Fat stay night is an eroge game made by porn addicted and drug addicted mushroom from hell. Eroge stands for erotic game, why would you read an erotic game without porn? For the plot?!?!? The plot is childlike with themes such as abuse, violence, excpectations and what it means to be a hero. As a child i always wanted to be a superhero but then i grew up i started playing video games and i dont want to be a hero anymore. The only thing that makes it any adult was porn. I dont like porn. (No 18+ scenes are just goofy asf and out of place they had plot revelence but realta nua adds a better alternative to them with a better revelence to the plot).
