Fate/stay night REMASTERED

Fate/stay night REMASTERED

View Stats:
Guys, it's time for a Fate/Stay Night: Remake
He already stated he didn't like how the Saber Route exactly went & overall he[Nasu] feels his writing ability is leaps and bounds improved since the OG, there's probably alot that can be tuned up & overall adjusted.

Fate/Stay Night dosen't need a remake, some consider it Masterpiece.

But Nasu is getting old guys, eventually he'll need to put the pen down.

TsukiR, actually needed to be remade due to the quality of the original works & to bring it more in-line with the changes brought upon by the ever-evolving Fate series & with Mahoyo(2012).

I can only hope for some of his final works can include Rebasing all of Fate's core, but maybe some stones are best left unturned.

I am reading the og Tsukihime right now, and I can conclude, it did in fact need a remake. What it has already is great, but it is definitely carried 90% by the writing, the art is just passable, and the sound track, while okay, only has 10 tracks. And some of the visual novel just has sections with no music whatsoever for some reason. The UI is as basic as it gets, you can't delete or name your save files either. And no voice acting. It defenitely deserved the remake treatment, and it kind of got it. Since it's coming in 2 parts with the first part only having two of the routes and the next part having 3 and possibly and extra route.

As for Fate, while I personally don't believe it NEEDS a remake, it definitely could use one. Especially if Nasu wants to change Saber's route, which many people are argue feels more like an introduction and the most typical route,

What I mean by remake is updated visuals to match Takeuchi's current art, let Akiniko Nasu rewrite Fate(which he's stated he wants to do), and overall improve the writing and visual presentation in-which Fate's origin was told.

The point is Nasu was an amateur when he wrote most of his works, and now he's commercial. All he does is write, he knows he can write better. Most of fate is surprisingly self contained, remaking Stay Night would effect so little of the Franchise also.

Yeah but right now he's working on Tsukihime Remake Other Side of Red Garden. So we won't see anything like a Fate remake until that.

I Agree.

I never claimed it needed priority, just getting the ball rolling on the discussion.

i wish the art was remade for the remaster but well its not, at least fate's art is not bad i like it alot personally, tsukihime on the other hand really felt like an HS project of a vn since its pretty basic and that actually needed a remake

At the moment, Nasu has two major visual novels projects known to be in production; The Other Side of Red Garden and the second part of Mahoyo. I think it’s increasingly unlikely we’ll see a major rewrite of F/SN, given that it is still his longest work (Though Red Garden might surpass that) and his many duties and responsibilities not only writing other stories but also managing Type Moon and the development of other projects.

Make Kirei and Gilgamesh route and il give you my all for it

This may be a somewhat hot take, but I actually think Fate Stay Night is Nasu's weakest work. Don't get me wrong, it's still great and does an amazing job at deconstructing the hero archetype and has amazing development for Shirou across 3 routes (except the fate route which was setting out his ideal bet makes him rather static in some way). I personally think Tsukhime and Witch on The Holy Night is a bit better. Maybe i've just gotten tired of servants and holy grail wars. But I think learning about dead apostles, True ancestors, the mystic eyes of death perception, the church and it's exorcists/burial agency, the mage craft system, is just more interesting than Fate Stay Night.

Kirei & Gilgamesh don't care about each other and are not friends.

If you think otherwise, you don't understand or actually haven't read the story.

It's more like they entertain each other. They don't really care about each other's wellbeing. Giglamesh allows Kirei to do things that bring people to despair more easily and is entertained when he see's Kirei scheming. Kirei gains joy from bringing people to despair. It's more like a mutually beneficial relationship. That's how I viewed it at least. I mean Giglamesh didn't come to Kirei's aid when he was attacked by caster after all.
