Does anyone else feel like the sound of voice lines is a bit crunchy?
It's definitely is for me, comparing the voices in the "Ultimate edition" to this Remaster. In the ultimate edition it sounds a lot clearer

here's an example comparison done by me

well at you can see I'm not the only one with such issue, and if we have it, it doesn't mean everyone does..
Try changing the sample ratio in your Windows Settings. Apparently that fixes it. Make sure it is above 44.1kHz or 48kHz ( https://files.catbox.moe/x70biv.png )

They’re fine, no issues

They’re not set to 100% volume by default and you can turn on the lower music during voice playback setting to make them even more audible

Also don’t forget to turn shirou’s voice on who for some reason is turned off by default

This is not what i mean, it's not really a volume issue, but quality of voice lines itself, it's like the audio is peaking, although the original doesn't seen to have such issue

I had the same thing. I figured it was because of my external sound card. That's what it sounded like: https://youtu.be/qSYFvUdZHRo
When I plugged it directly into my computer, everything became normal.
But even so, I still have the impression that the sound quality is worse than in the original.

This is exactly what i'm experiencing, but I don't have an external sound card, so I can't fix it this way. It's really disappointing since the audio in Realta Nua version is very clear, and we can hear it the example you provided
Yeah I've been having the same problem. I wonder if it's because I'm using a wireless earphones or something to do with win 11?

I'm on windows 10, and i'm using wired headphones, so it's probably not that

Anyone managed to fix this? I also have the problem with BGM constantly changing volume when nothing is going on...
Cry Aug 8, 2024 @ 11:10am
Yep, it definitely sounds worse. Also the default volume adjustment is pretty bad. That's what work most for me.

Really hope they'll acknowledge the issue, and at least tell us if they are gonna fix it or not

No there is definitely issues with the audio and it isn't the issue with the audio file (they're fine). It's an issue with AGES Mk2 engine. No matter how high quality audio you use, it's gonna be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ no matter what.

well at you can see I'm not the only one with such issue, and if we have it, it doesn't mean everyone does..
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
