Good and bad things about the Fate series.

Pros:

Clever and fresh use of tropes in fiction.
Mostly interesting takes on historical characters.
Incredible soundtracks and openings/endings.
Hiroyuki Sawano.
High potential for seemless spin-offs in the same universe.
Strong effort put into dialogues and character interaction.
Mostly oustanding fights with choreography.

Cons:

The first Fate.
Strong female objectification tendencies throughout the entries.
Tons of remakes to keep the money flow going/slow release speed of new entries.
Gacha.
Varying spin-off quality, inability to pinpoint the "true" timeline.
Overuse of certain characters without giving them extra development room/different angles.
Fanbase.

7 to 7, while originally it was 6 to 7 one user has informed me that, yes, the "fans" are quite obnoxious when it comes to this series. Nevertheless, Fate is a great action series that actually incorporates complex stories and thought-out dialogues, themes and characters within it. The most compelling, least problematic animated entry so far is Fate/Apocrypha. Except for Astolfo, he should have been designed adequately. The worst is, obviously, Grand Order which you don't want to watch if you care about having respect for the series on the whole.

I just noticed something else. Of all the existing Fate media that you mentioned, you made sure to say to 'watch' them thereby signalling a disinterest in exploring over mediums for the series beyond anime adaptations. That's actually genius and you're sincerely one of the greatest writers I've seen on this platform.

apocrypha is the weakest fate series except for having waifu Jeanne in it and sieg is annoying, Grand order Is great especially Babylonia, camelot and temple of time and i hope they make a lostbelt movie or series soon of either lostbelt 1 or 6

Glad Fate has those but not each part is to my liking with how plot goes
So favorite Fate series gotta be Zero,Samurai remnant,extella(interesting story) and Grand Order mostly because it has best fictional male characters there for me like Douman,Oberon and Rasputin

And this series turned me to a gacha addict
I cant drop a single login day in fgo or my life is over

I would say there is no point in discovering the other mediums. The animated series are the apotheosis, the refined experience on which the authors and production teams have reflected after their original release. And, obviously, I cannot authentically recommend a gacha game to anyone, out of concerns for their well-being.
