No Shirou voice in prologue

It looks intentional; there's no button to play audio in the backlog of his lines. Didn't he have voice lines in other versions or am I crazy? Sorry if this comes off as too nitpicky lol

(working from memory here) The first voice line of the game after the initial boot-up comes from Saber. Additionally, Shirou only gets voice acting for his spoken lines, not narration.

I know, I'm talking about the school scene in the prologue, after Issei is introduced.

He was voiced in this scene, I found a prologue video of him talking from the ultimate build

I don't know why he isn't voiced here, unless its based on another version I'm not aware off, was there a difference between the ps2 or pc version perhaps, I don't know

Yeah, he is supposed to be voiced there. My old patched PC copy does have an external program to toggle individual voices, so my best guess is there's something wrong with this version's default configuration. If you want to fast-forward and check if he's voiced during Day 1, that may help solve this

Shiki is voiced just fine in the Tsukihime Remake which released before this. It's for sure an error.

I think on some previous console releases they also muted Shirou by default and you had to enable his voice in the config. It made me feel bad for his VA :'-) he really put a lot of effort into those death gargles in all the bad ends

True but I would think most people would be familiar with Noriaki Sugiyama voice work for Shirou just from watching the anime, so it would be really jarring to have him missing with the rest of the cast intact

Maybe check if he isn't muted in the sound option ? I found out I had him muted. Don't know if by default or if I screwed up

It is muted by defaulted, They should change that
