Director cut patch with r18 content?

Of course i am very happy that this game is coming out on Steam, but if there will be a patch then what's the point of playing the cut version?

Untrue. Basically everything is canon in Type Moon. It's always just slightly different parallel worlds and timelines.

The reason they got rid of those scenes now is a purely business decision, not an ideological one. All ages content can be sold on consoles and mobile, which are by far way more popular platforms in Japan. Type moon are greedy, there is no higher calling.

Indeed, Nasu and Takeuchi seems to be proponents of including sex scenes when creating an 18+ game. Heaven's Feel plot was even made with this in mind.

We can't really judge it unless you can read Japanese. As English readers we can only go off on the fan translation which was done, by someone who wasn't a native English speaker. Translating ero scenes takes practice and I don't think TakaJun was particular skilled in this

Don't expect it any time soon. The game runs on a new closed source engine which was previously used for Muv-Luv Steam ports instead of the old open kirikiri engine the original version of F/SN used.
It will be a while before the community cracks it open and manually reimplements the old scenes back in the game. I give it a year, maybe more if we are really unlucky. Or what's likely they'll give up and simply port the Steam translation and new CGs to their old version they know how to work with. Either way isn't going to be fast.

Thanks for your answer. At least now i know the game uses a difficult to work with engine. I thought people simply doesn't care. I can still hope.

Its both really. Its a small and very vocal minority of people that are tearing their hair out over the omission of the 18+ content at the end of the day. It is always worth remembering that the people that are more likely to engage in a discussion are people that are mad or have a chip on their shoulder for whatever reason so you are going to be a disproportionate response from the people angry than anyone else.

cracking the engine open was the easiest part
there's already tools for this engine.
its just that nobody cares about muv luv so we had no public tools previously
