Aeria should put in place systems to block all mentions of unrealbot.com similar to what they have done for swear words. The blocking of free advertising of this site which adversely affects their games gameplay should be on the top of their list to eradicate hackers.
Perhaps the Devs should purchase a pass to gain access to that site's content/hacks so they can unravel the code that is being used by these particular hackers and then create counter measures to detect the presence of such code and ban players/IPs with such code detected.
I'm not sure this is even possible/legal, but if it is; then I'm surprised it hasn't been done already.
1) Take a screenshot or video capture of the behavior in question ("print screen" key for screenshots / "scroll lock" key for video capture). Document the evidence as clearly as possible. Note that for Soldier Front 2 the default directory for these files is located here:
"C:\AeriaGames\SoldierFront2\SFGame"
2) Contact Aeria support here: {LINK VERWIJDERD}http://www.aeriagames.com/contact. Be sure to include the evidence you have gathered.
Give as much information as you can, regarding the behavior. Be as detailed as possible.
Upon coming across a player with the name {LINK VERWIJDERD}Unrealbot.com, it is best to take a screenshot of the ingame scoreboard by pressing tab and print screen. Exit the game, and take a screenshot of the lobby. Provide us with both of these screenshots.
We strive to keep our games fun and cheat free for everyone. We take hacking and abuse very seriously. We appreciate the communities effort in making our games better for everyone.
Like many other games that have in-game currency 'offers';
3rd party pays Aeria for every person that completes offers through Aeria's links, Aeria banks cash, gives you 'free' AP.
Anyone and everyone knows that these offers are either trying to get you to download malware/adware, get your e-mail so they can spam it with advertising and sell it to other advertisers or rack up view counts on their promotional videos.
Simple tips;
-Never download anything from offers.
-Use a 'secondary' e-mail address you don't mind will be bombarded with spam.
-Just complete the video offers.
Actually they hold plenty of the responsibility. That's like saying its not the crack dealers and pimps faults the neighborhood is filled with crack and exploited women.
