Anyone here from ijji?

I used to play the predecessor on ijji before I forgot my account lolz...

Had a M110-S, UZI, Galil, and Desparado. Dunno if I had any more weapons though because those weapons were the most memorable of all I had... :D

Was from IJJI, but from AVA before Aeria games took hold. But this game looks fantastic and im going to give it a go. (steam achievements are always a plus for me)

Memories! The original Soldier Front was my first fps game. I had the sniper, dual pistol, and the other snipers like the wooden one. Do you remember the aqua and gold uzi event?

Oh god, I remember the gold UZI. =.= They had a ♥♥♥♥ ton of "skins" for guns though didn't they?

Which sniper? PSG-1? FR-F2? AWP? Dragunov?

Lolz. I stopped playing about 4 years ago when I still remembered it being on ijji. Didn't even know when it changed to Aeria until today when I went to ijji and logged in through Facebook(not my account with the guns though) and saw a picture saying to transfer my ijji account to Aeria.

But if there's achievements for SF2, I might actually get into SF again...lolz

Though I wonder if Shanghai is still there...

Aww the memories of Soldier Front! ^,^ First MMOFPS! I had the Dragon M4 with Glock and AMP with DEagle... good times, I remember going no life on that game. Longest played FPS for me ^,^

Just played SF2, major lag issues where you/others teleport but elsewords, absolutely fantastic game! :D

Hope they have VAC enabled on SF2. One of the reason I started moving away from MMOFPS was because of all the hackers in them. Soldier Front, Combatarms, and Crossfire. =.=

SF didn't have that many hackers, as far as I remember. I remember once that some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ used some hack and started shooting grenades out of his pistol and it was unlimited.

CF and CA had bucket loads of hackers; speed hacks, weapons hacks, aimbots, wall hack, cham, wireframe, no recoil, no spread, knife hacks, knife range hacks, ammo hacks. I could go on and on but it annoyed me to no end.

Played this several years ago, first FPS for me before going onto CoD4 and loved it. It had a really fun community and the official forums helped connect clans etc. it was honestly great when you could stumble into a pro lobby and try your luck.

I dunno, it was my gateway into FPS's much like Runescape is to MMO's.

I highly doubt that they will enable VAC on SF2

Steam AVA does not use VAC (and they are also run by Aeria Games) so i doubt SF2 would run VAC

That's disappointing...Another thread on this forum showed that hacks are already in the game and that puts me off playing. It's not fun to be running along a hallway and get headshot through the wall. =.=

I used to play on IJJI SF 1. Grew up around that game. Played competitively as well in scrims and such. Good times. : )

Looks like I'm exactly like you. I checked a couple weeks ago and just found out that they moved it to Aeria. I had the PSG-1 and Dragunov i think. OOhhh also the AWP. Don't know if you tried, but i decided to try Soldier Front 1 again and the game lags like crazy.

My computer shouold run it fine, but it seems like maybe it's not optimized for Windows 8.
