Put the world building in steamworld build. Please.
We want heist to be a turn based tactics game with some RPG elements. Defeat robots. Loot treasure. Repeat.

perhaps it is but after playing for an hour and only getting <15mins in an actual mission I was kind of fed up and needed to get my thoughts down on why I was so upset. its also just a ♥♥♥♥♥ to control compared to the first one, in case you needed more textured critique.
anyways, the plot and worldbuilding are just boring. just because someone writes something down doesnt automagically imbue said writings with worth (the irony of this statement under my own screed is not lost on me). maybe someone cares, I would be surprised but plenty of kids play these games so its not a 0% chance. I just do not, and am here for what made steamworld heist 1 great, and in an hour of playing steamworld heist 2 those things seemed to be in short supply.
Also yeah the plot doesn’t really make you think at all (go play a Crpg like underrail if you want a turn based game that does) but I still prefer a game to at least try to make it feel like there’s a point to what I’m doing. Plus seeing all of the goofy character designs was funny.
