Stuck? Please help (Morgan's ship)

I just got the shield upgrade and now have to fight Morgan's ship (which I think is the one in the big square - there is no quest marker).

So how is that shield supposed to help me? That huge-as* ship still has the invisibility shield around it and I tried to penetrate it for over a minute and nothing happened.

Anyone past that point? :-I

Ram the enemy ship when you have your shield up, and it will disable it for a while.

It's hard to explain but those weird talking-noises annoy me so much that I sometimes skip cutscenes (+ I really don't like the way the devs do storytelling in their games but luckily playing them without the story is still very fun for me).

Hey Swimfan!

Although we love the quirky robot voices we know they aren't everyone's favorite. There is an option to turn them off in the audio settings.
