Do they allow HORSE and tag to be played online yet?

These were my top played game modes back in the day. I read during release of this remaster those two for some dumb reason were only local multiplayer. Did they fix it to allow it to be played online?

Nope. You can't do it on THPS1 N-Gage or THPS2x Xbox either, which sucks.

Strictly split screen, however, Parsec exists. I've used it to play 2X split online, outside of system link, and tag is great with 4 people.

You can use a community tool called Remote Play Whatever. That allows you to play horse mode in local multiplayer via Remote Play Together feature of Steam. Just go to their github page and download the latest release.
