I wonder if either the OST of 3 or 4 have any more explicit tracks, since i haven't listened to the THPS3 OST in a while (and never played 4).
I know Police Truck by Dead Kennedys is iconic, but they massacred it so much, that i was baffled as to why it was even included in the Remake in the first place.
Otherwise, I hope the rest of the music is there.
Which Tony Hawk game do you think has the best soundtrack?
i would have to say Underground 2 but they are all good (except American Wasteland-ewww)
American Wasteland is god tier.
I hope to see Adolescents, Distillers, Nebula, Alien Ant Farm, AFI back. But i have a feeling that Iron will not make a comeback
The best song on there was rise above by Black flag
I was actually taken aback the first time I picked it up and heard Blackball, a fairly obscure song from The Offspring's 1st studio album, start playing. That's a pretty deep cut, ngl
3 might have been the weakest soundtrack for me. There were some great bands that were in the beta files, but never made it to the released game. Dwarves, Lillingtons, Kool Keith, and Black Sheep would have been more than welcome IMO. THPS4 got me into a lot of underground hip-hop (Eyedea (RIP), Aesop Rock, De La Soul, Lootpack/Madlib) and punk (Distillers, Hot Water Music, Rocket From The Crypt, Flogging Molly)
I actually use him as a bit of a limpness test when getting to know new people. If they say, "Oh, you mean Aesop Rocky?", I just smh, chuckle, and proceed send them links to some actually good music. lol
