Game don't recognize my Dualsense

I would like to know if there's any way i can change this Xbox prompts to the Playstation ones, i'm using the Dualsense with DualSenseX for emulating the DS4, but still no PS Prompts, and the Steam Input OFF

Full controller support needs an update it only supports it fully up to PS4 controller not the PS5 controller aka the dualsense, more games have this issue, im not sure if this ever gonna get fixed hopefully it will be,

In lords of the fallen i can set it to ps5 prompts via config edit which is a unreal engine game, not sure if something similar could be done for this game, you will end up relying on steam input however.

The third party app to make it work outside steam tho from my experience it installs an xbox controller driver so it will be recognized as such, not something you want if you want playstation button prompts

My advice for developers is get a dualsense controller like PS5 and see if support can be added or add a option to change button prompts to various different controller types xbox playstation switch etc, xbox is a good default option but most prefer a playstation controller these days, having option to change prompts to playstation would be welcome.

I think this is what's happening. Can you run it without DSX? I'm using a DS5 via USB, Steam Input off, and I get PS button prompts as soon as I press a button in-game.

I've had issues with Steam Input doing the same job as DSX in the past - I think it was with Hitman? The game recognised the DS5 and gave the right prompts, but Steam emulates an Xbox controller to give wider compatibility. The game is then seeing an Xbox controller and shows those prompts. THPS seems to recognise the DS5 as long as there's nothing interfering.

I refunded the game, it does not run without steaminput by default it assumes the game has compatibility with dualsense but it does not.
Any game that claims to have full controller support does not support dualsense, not without steaminput atleast.

You probably just have a ps4 controller not a ps5 controller, ps4 = dualshock 4

Show me picture of your controller i don't believe you, every game that claims to support playstation controllers does not support my dual sense only my dualshock4

nope don't have a third party software I just bought this game today on steam didn't even do anything just booted up the game like normal

Like I said I just bought it on steam because I couldn't get epic games version to work properly with my dualsense whenever I press r2 it the camera would go crazy so I just said screw it bought it again on steam

nope don't have a third party software I just bought this game today on steam didn't even do anything just booted up the game like normal

Do you have screenshot of properties of this game and then controller section to see if steam input is enabled for playstation ?
