Offline with steamdeck=1 %command% not working anymore?

I just bought the game because I thought it's possible to play offline on linux with the command, but it doesn't work for me. I guess this will be a refund.
steamdeck=1 %command%
Does nothing on Linux
I thought it might be because you have to at least start the game once online and accept everything. But no, it still does nothing. Maybe they patched it so that you can't bypass the online check anymore.
I believe they patched it away at least on linux

I don't have patience with this crap. Gonna just refund it now

I forgot to mention that I'm on linux. your solution is for windows. Is it still working on windows though?

It's platform agnostic. You put this under launch parameters.

I tried it before I refunded it. I carefully copy pasted the solution for windows too.

But I tried both parameters linux and windows before I have started the game once. than I tried it again after setting the game up one time online and accepting the eula and it still didn't worked for me.

maybe you need to play a session at least once online, idk

I don't know maybe I did something wrong. But then again I tried both solutions by copy and pasting them(not together ofc). So it couldn't be a typo. I would love to keep the game.

The Linux launch command is different, since it's using Proton to play the game. It's supposed to be just "steamdeck=1 %command%" on Linux.

I don't wanna be that guy but you're literally online to ask this question. Even if it required a one time log in to verify ownership (it doesn't on deck whatsoever anymore) the fact that you're here right now puts your motives into question.

It's about singleplayer always online drm. Inform yourself about what issues comes with it. If servers are down your access to the game is not there. Do you understand at least that simple thing? I'm assuming you are not trolling. Or maybe I hope so

Still working for me on both Windows and Linux, I'm ruling user error but you've refunded it so it's whatever now.

I see it works for others. It seems most likely that it's something on my side.

Also I'm not having anything against the game. I see it's highly rated by people and press. And it's good old Tony Hawk man

I'll try it maybe in the winter sale again. For now I'm having a big pile of games I haven't even played.
