Sutter issues
Hi!
Anyone got any issues with FPS/Stutter?
i5 13600K, RTX 4070 and 32GB RAM + SSD NVMe.
Vsync on/off, FPS limited to 120 or 60, same issue.
Hangar stage, after I drive down to quarter pipe, game just start to drop FPS. It's hard to play with constant drops.

I have fps drop / stutter issue as well. It was 200 + fps week ago, now its variable with drops to 49 fps ... maybe its due to nvidia drivers, I think after recent update it started.

All other games works fine.

My rig:

Ryzen 9 - 5950x
RTX 3080 TI
32 GB RAM
Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB

You got same issue if you limit your FPS to 120/60?

yes unfortunately yes :( I cap it at 60 and set vsync to on , and still drops to 49 fps ... gpu usage 110 watt ( where max is 380 on my gpu ) , temp 56.

Well, same issue as me. Sometimes it helps when I change render resolution to something above 100%. You can try this, maybe it will help.

Could be, I set it at 200 usually but have it set at 190 to get a solid 144fps.

Only fps drop I had was with a steam update in the background or if I use remote play.


I'd there any FSR/DLSS in the game? If so, it could be the issue, if it change the resolution, it sometime stutter hence why I never use these.

I fixed the issue.

I installed nvidia drivers 537.58 from 7th of October, seems like the 545.84 driver from 17 of October causing stutter issue / fps drops.


Now I set it to 60 fps with vsync on, gpu usage is 90 watts. In uncapped I get around 190, but I have a 60 Hz monitor so it does not make sense to keep it that high , in vsync on its smooth and power usage is only 90 watts.


I will wait with nvidia drivers till their next release ( skipping 545.84 )
