Custom music?

Is there a way we can enable custom music through a special folder (similar to GTA San Andreas, etc.)?

You could do it through modding, probably, but this isn't a feature.

Doesn't Steam have a Music feature that works via overlay? Works only for MP3 files on your drive though.

Yeah there are some (or maybe all, I can't remember them all) of the OGs, out of a couple dozen tracks consisting of 25-30% OGs and the rest being some new BS. I'm so grateful I got to live at a time when music was still music to the ears.

Now, they've got Machine Gun Kelly and hip hop crap sitting next to Millencolin and RATM? Seriously?

It's got all of the original American version's soundtrack except for 3 songs. It has none of the replacements that the EU version had. There's also new songs. You can pick and choose what songs you want to enable or disable

Of course you could just mute the ingame music and just let your music player of choice play in the background. But it's not really the same as having the music integrated into the game, and having it start when a level starts. Hope there will be a mod in the future that lets you add custom music.

I typically just mute the in-game music in Options and then run Tidal or Spotify in another window while I play. Never saw a need to make it more complicated than that.

If there are songs you dislike, you can disable individual tracks by going to Sound Options and editing the Playlist.

This game has like 3 songs I like. I mute the music and use my skate rock playlist on Spotify.
