what i would recommend is: play with friends or with people from a discord server, so you can rat them out if they cheat when they aren't supposed to. (i honestly think that if both are cheating than fair game, but if not... well...)
You get get 14 million without proving though.
I never use lines, and especially tech as I find it lame personally, my record for Mall in THAW is 80.4 million.

Probably what's going on... There are better pro skater games though.
I've been playing this series since 2000, I play THAW daily and have over 700 hours of 1+2 on PS4; I know these games like the back of my hand.
Skating high into the sky box is not tech in 1+2, neither is slow falling for tens of seconds; This is guaranteed moon gravity.
I have yet to experience score hacks like OP claims, however. 14 million is still a normal score.

you can actually jump as high as the game allows it, there is quick turn reverts and other ways to do it, 700 hours what did you do? playing jams allday?
