Steam has.
I mean for this game, obviously... None of the platforms offer this option.
For steam its much easier.
Steam offer way to upgrade to Deluxe.
No point blaming customers for that.
Easy to release the Deluxe Edition dlc to everyone who want to upgrade.
steam and most other storefronts offer upgrades to higher editions, but publishers often just don'T use them. considering how this is activision, the most consumer unfriendly publisher on the market and considering how they didn't offer an upgrade on ALL other storefronts i think your chances are slim to none.. actually none.
in the end if you had a tiny bit of self control you would have waited for 30 minutes instead of buying it instantly like a crazy person thus its your fault for buying the normal edition, especially because the deluxe edition was already advertised days before its release. if you had some common sense this "mistake" wouldn't have happened so i'm kinda right to blame customers like "you" ;)
its easy to release such a deluxe edition dlc, thats true but its very unlikely activision would do it considering how they haven't done it on any other storefront. i warned people like 5-10 minutes after the game released to have a tiny bit of patience and not buy the standard edition if they wanted the deluxe because the deluxe would come up in a few minutes anyway.
the smart way would be to refund the standard edition with this reason and rebuy the deluxe edition, tis the fastest way to solve your problem and it certainly is faster and smarter than writing a thread here hoping someone from activision sees it (they most likely won't) and having to wait for a few weeks until this is added because it wouldn't happen instantly anyway. in such a huge company like activision every tiny decision has to go through several departments before its even greenlit ;)
They know its guaranteed sales.
No need to force anything.
