That doesn't matter. The Steam client and all games that use only it as DRM are completely portable, and Offline Mode works indefinitely. Even if you don't own anything on paper, you absolutely do in practice.
Unless, you know, a game requires an internet connection to play.
"You'll own nothing and be happy"
This crap creeped up more than a decade ago. Little can be done unless the demand for these online games ceases up, and it only grows.
For quite a while now, I calculate if I'm spending 1h per 1R$ (my currency), anything less is a loss because you never know when your game will be inaccessible.
There is nothing it can be done unless if it is with yourself. Spend on DRM-less games and make a external backup storage if you want.
Anyone who doesn't think these kinds of practices are completely and utterly ♥♥♥♥♥♥ have no concept of morality.
For now, the best way to enjoy this is consoles.
Btw, it's really well done, but also not perfect, there are quite many problems with level creator in particular, I remember losing my levels on ps4 out of nowhere and I don't think they ever bothered to update it.
your opinions are trash and you are what's wrong with modern gaming.
It's quite disheartening how strung up in materialism some of you are yet you don't have to buy it and could move along.
