Honestly ♥♥♥♥ Activision.

I can't believe you guys are actually thinking about re-buying the game on steam just for functional online multiplayer. I was one of those too. But then I really thought long and hard about how much it pissed me off when the servers stopped working Sept 2022. What is to stop them from doing that again??? They must get 1000s of support tickets about this but they do not even ACKNOWLEDGE the problem. I really want to play this game online again. But I am not even going to give myself the chance of being pissed off over this stupid-ass game company who keeps ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ us around. ♥♥♥♥ ACTIVISION and ♥♥♥♥ EVERYONE who re-buys this game and gives them money.

So multiplayer is working with the Steam Version but no fixes for EGS despite having a whole year to address the problem? Yeah, thanks but no, thanks... I'll keep playing offline, then.

"oh, but the game is at a discount" ... Yeah, I bought it even cheaper when I did.

Didn't Microsoft buy Activision, does it even exist anymore? (oh ok, MS has still not acuired AV, but will happen very soon now, and maybe then online will be fixed) But isn't game primarily singleplayer anyway? I have the game on EGS, but wouldn't play online if I reinstalled it.

I had it on Xbox One X but I'm sure it'll be better on PC

I bought the game when it came out. It was the first Tony Hawk game I have played since THPS 1 and 2 on Sega Dreamcast. I never played any of the other games. I had to learn all of the new tech through this game. It was also the first game I paid full price for in a long time because I really wanted to play it. When it was working, everything was great. I fell in love with it really. But I mainly like to do public jams and private matches with friends. I never got into the single player grind as much. My max scores are pretty low for the time I put into the game. I think my warehouse is the only score I have that is over 20 million.

Greedy Activision at it again, I banned anything from them for some years now.
Would've skipped this game anyways due to this anti consumer exclusivity deal with EGS.

that was part of my reasoning for buying it on launch day. I never played 3 and 4 so I figured I would play 1+2 a bunch and if it did well, they would release a 3+4 DLC or something like that.

3 was my absolute favorite back in the day. I was late to the party with this remake and had my dreams crushed when I heard 3 + 4 wouldn't be a thing

EGS/Consoles only work online when using a 5G modem or mobile hotspot. sometthing to do with only specific NAT types are able to connect. Been like this for over a year.
