Progress is shared from Epic

Loaded up and all my Epic progress (level 65) and create a skater are here. Not sure if it will unlock achievements eventually, but hasn't yet.

It should be, since that information is independent of the Store front and is saved in the same location. You can do the same with Steam games and gog.com games.

the save files is here: %LOCALAPPDATA%\VicariousVisions\THPS\Saved\SaveGames\

Some may not be able to see the folder, if that happens you have to

Open File Explorer from the taskbar.

Select View > Options > Change folder and search options.

Select the View tab and, in Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives and OK.

One you're int the folder, delete (or back-up) the save files (.SAV).

can anyone confirm that its possible to restart the game at levle 0 without anything done ? i 100%ed the EGS version and i would love to buy this game again but only if i can start from scratch because otherwise i wouldn't have anything to play in the game anyway.

if you delete the saves from the folder.. will this lead to starting from scratch ? asking because you never know these days if progress isn't cloud saved :(

yes, if you delete the files, (and maybe disable cloud saves for THPS in Epic to be sure!) you'll start from 0

You can disable cloud save for individual games remember.

Just delete the .SAV files in the folder, and you are good to go.

try without re-installing Epic. Start the steam version, if you have progress, you'll have to do it the long way....

alright thanks. hope it works out, will buy tomorrow and try it. if not i'll have to refund it which would be insanely sad as i waited to repurchase it on steam for 3 years :D such an incredible masterpiece, will hate activision forever for killing vicarious visions after they made this :( :P

Piping back in for others looking to reset their save. I deleted my .sav files from the folder above, turned off cloud sync on THPS, reloaded and I had my progress at 0, perfect. Did the tutorial and saved the game. Logged out and turned on cloud save on THPS, chose local save when prompted, then back to the progress I had after the tutorial. Achievements are also working post save delete. Let's go!

Yeah, right click on THPS and hit properties on Steam. Then turn off cloud sync on the general tab. Then just follow what I mentioned above and you should be good to go.
