Honestly?

without knowing your "working device"... no idea.
I have not had a single crash in about 70 hours...

drivers up to date? computer strong enough? overheating excluded? defective hardware excluded?

I have a 1660, I've never had any problems with other games. I have everything up to date, no overheating as far as I know. The game closes by itself without leaving a message. I don't understand where this could come from

and do you meet all the other minimum requirements?

cpu?
windows 10?
RAM?

i'll be honest, right now i don't know why it shouldn't work, since i really haven't had a real problem with the game yet

there are also many videos on youtube about THPS 1+2 and the 1660

my cpu : AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor 3.40 GHz
Ram : 16,0 Go
And Window 10 pro
I don't know, maybe something wrong with my PC. But i don't have crash on Diablo 4 (Battlenet) with Medium settings. No crash on Apex Legends in High settings etc..
If one day i found the problem i gonna write it there in case someone else is like me

So I had issues on my 3080Ti PC, it crashed after 10 minutes because it went to 90°, didn't know that was an extreme temperature even (I cleaned my PC a month ago, no dust etc), kind of weird knowing I run Starfield and other games like Elden Ring and Star Citizen without issues on ultra and only having 75-78° there. After googling I 've read old 980Ti's in good conditions (crypto machines) crashed within 2 minutes in main menu, and that was when the game got released, so they basicly ignored the 100000s of reports and forums threads. It's fair to see I'll never buy their games again. They are a bunch of newgen developers probably who took over the company and have no university phd's/masters, they just go to subscribed forums where experts help them with some coding and that's it, they are GoogleSearch devs as I call them, put them in a real company as employers and they'll fall through the box and get fired immediatly, basicly like the current VALVe devs working on CS2.
