Apparently, they stupidly made the game check to see if it's specifically running on a Steam Deck, and this command tells it that it is.
I've seen conflicting reports as to whether or not it actually works, but even if it doesn't, there has to be some way of launching it the same way in Windows as it launches on the Deck.
Activision will never cease to absolutely ravage my psyche.
Holy crap, what did you do to get it working? A breakthrough, this is exciting!
The fact that it requires a guide at all means nobody should buy this game

Activision, why? Why do you hate us and yourselves? Do you really not want Windows users to play your PS1 games offline that much? Was THIS really the more logical solution to you?
