So my game blue screened. Lost all progress on my 100% game completed file. Devastated. I guess I am done playing this...

yeah my steam cloud got messed up and reset my save too & couldn't restore from a previous cloud save. Is what it is.

I had a few left but finished most of them yes.

The Game lost my save file as well, I feel your pain. It was replaced with a new save file with nothing done.

Same man, I wish I would have thought of turning off cloud saves before exiting the game. I just feel like so much work is lost.

Same problem! And i lost all my progress three times in a row! I have bsod (i dont now what happened) and after this im enter the game and my level is 1... and it is not hardware. Bsod happened only in this game. I dont know what is the problem. Because minidumps (with logs of bsod issue) are not created.

Yeah, same for me. I have never blue screened except from this game, nothing else. You can usually see BSOD logs in the event viewer but they are rarely helpful. Since the issue is isolated to this game I am doubtful it's my hardware.

Just lost my progress for the second time, with all gaps completed, about 300 challenges done, tours 100% with a few characters, plus tons of multiplayer sessions played. The game crashed, probably when it was auto-saving (which the game does ALL THE TIME). The first time, it was a power outage.

It's unthinkable that they don't have an automatic backup save file recovery system in place. Having the risk of losing all progress makes me never want to play this again.

I don't even know how I would be able to manually create a backup for this tbh... This is insanely frustrating

Its me again. Just wanted to say that I reinstalled game. Before the game was install in system disc C. Now I've reinstall it in another disk and played around 3 hours today with no bsod, I regulary doing a saves backup ofcourse, but something tells me that the problem was in installing directory.

Very well could be. I ended up getting crashes in other games after. I took my PC apart, replaced cables and have been going well so far. When I get the energy I will go through and play again.

%LOCALAPPDATA%\VicariousVisions\THPS\Saved\SaveGames\

Open file explorer and paste that into the directory path.

♥♥♥♥! Here we go again... After 10+ hours without bsod, my game crushed again (but im not lost my saves). This happened right in the Menu, when I choosed Tony Hawk (before that I play for my own character). So I think it has something to do with autosaves, something wrong happen when autosave tries to overwrite the previous one.
