Where is Kendra? (very late game spoilers)

Okay, spoilers ahead for one of the last parts of the games (I guess?)






After the final battle, in the Sinner's Inn, Pebble says Kendra headed to "the most western part of the Edge". Well... where is she??? I went to the little shrine-like building there that is here on the map: https://i.postimg.cc/Fs0Rv0Bw/image.png

Just a locked door with a bunch of statues, some with lit up eyes/mouths. Is there some puzzle here? I can tell the door is supposed to be open by how some of the graphics glitch when you're near it (arrows and circle go behind it). But... I can't for the life of me figure out how. I've looked just about everywhere else in the Edge. I'm quite confused as to what my next step is supposed to be. Gentle hints quite welcome.

I have no open areas on the map other than that top-left square. I have all the upgrades/special attacks, 101 upgrade points, and have gotten all the items you can buy map markers for. I'm at 98% right now, missing only one record and the last three photos.

I just watched the last bit of a video walkthrough and the person just walked to that spot and all the eyes were lit up and the door opened. I have no idea why mine won't. And this person was also at 98%, with less upgrade points than I have. I'm stumped.

I'm absolutely in the same spot as OP. Really racking my brain trying to find a correlation between the statues being lit up or not. Feel like I've found everything and there are no more markers I can use. Just stuck wondering what this big door in The Edge is all about.

It doesn't feel very optional, though. :D It feels like the story is unfinished.

Well, I didn't feel dumb. 😁

I just feel it's a little obscure without something more. Like if every spot in the grid had been filled with cats. Or if the door had been inscribed with the geometric symbol for upgrades.

Otherwise in a game like this, I think it's a little bit of a stretch to lock the rest of the end of the game behind something so obscure.


Loved the game, though!

I just finished the game, and, first... THANK YOU VERY MUCH BORTHERS THOMPSON!!! Then, I quickly entered here because I knew it would be a bunch of post with "post game" or similar, better than create another one. And when I watched the video here... I LAUGH SO LOUDLY!!!

Well, in a few hours I'll do that... thing, and complete all 100% in this marvelous adventure. Really I enjoyed a lot. And observing that every Kyle's game comes in about two years... New game in 2026?

EDIT: All completed, YEEEEEEEEEEEEES. By the way, in spanish Kendra is 'Saponcia'. There is a problem because in some text named her Kendra instead.
