Game is slow on steam deck?

The game overall seems to be on some kind of slowdown. The menus have this almost lag to them, and there's an almost molasses like slowness to everything

Also, if it helps, the version seems to be 0.99666 which may mean it needs to be updated? I'm unsure

Sadly it's kinda rough to play as is but hoping this gets fixed soon

Playing on Steam deck myself and I have none of those issues. Are you sure you don't have TDP lowered or anything like that?

This is one of the custom Steam Deck settings that can be adjusted for each game. If you ask what it is, it means you have not limited the TDP.
In general, for many simple games you can limit the TDP (for longer battery life) - but it is better to google and study it yourself )

I ended up figuring out that for whatever reason it lags when I have it docked on my steam deck dock but undocked it runs flawlesslly
