No Sound at all while playing Q.U.B.E Director's Cut

I was able to install and open the game just fine, but the game had no sound. Is that how it's supposed to be or is there something I can do to fix that?
I know it's not my computer, because my sound works just fine with any other game/application.

****Update: I just uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and it works fine now. Idk what happened the first time.

Same here. No sound. Tried the reinstall trick - didn't work :/
Admittedly I've got a non-standard setup: Linux on AMD hardware...

The game starts with the Toxic Games trailer where I have sound, then nothing.

Same problem here, I runed the game from terminal trying to obtain more info and I saw this:

ALSA lib conf.c:3357:(snd_config_hooks_call) Cannot open shared library libasound_module_conf_pulse.so
ALSA lib pcm.c:2266:(snd_pcm_open_noupdate) Unknown PCM default
[...]

I have installed ia32-libs package (Linux Mint), and the system install the package libasound2-plugins:i386 and the audio problem is solved.
