Does Frozlunky still work

I want to play multiplayer with some friends without the streaming factor so I wanted to use Frozlunky but I get an error that Frozlunky has failed to initiate restart spelunky or check for newer version I have 2.6 which I am pretty sure is the newest version. Someone help me out please.
