Golden Monk

Quick question. I finally reached the City of Gold for the first time (though I would go on to have an embarassing death within this fabled city while running from the Anubis) and after exploring the whole area I couldn't find the coffin with the Golden Monk. Is it hidden somewhere special, or is it just something that isn't there every time?

I believe it only appears some of the time, I don't recall it being there the first time I played on the PC version but the second time I got there it was in the top right-hand corner. Just fully explore everythime you get there and it is bound to show up, I believe the chances of it appearing are a lot more likely than a standard coffin due to all the special stuff that is needed to get to the City of Gold.

Don't quote me on this.. But I think you can only unlock 1 character per game play. so if you unlocked a different character during the same run to the City Of Gold there won't be the Golden Monk... - Not sure if you unlocked any other special characters on your run -

It was there the first time I entered, in the top right corner, I believe (totally random, I know). I found him and every other DLC character (Robot, G.Ninja, Eskimo...) in their respective area at the first attempt, so the coffins should be guaranteed to spawn (or have a very high probability). He should be there the next time.

He was not there the First 2 Times I entered, but the Third time. Top Left corner, bombs only to access.
