Missing one more secret character, is it glitched?

I am missing one more secret character, the yellow hardhat worker lady, and I have played over 250 rounds in spelunky and have not come across her yet. Do I need to wipe my save and try to unlock her again? I just want her for the achievement and 100% clearing my game. Thanks in advance!

Chances are you'll find her coffin in the temple levels, as it is there that people spend comparatively much less time, play safer, and generally not explore as much as in other areas. It was there that I found the last random coffin.

I'll give it a shot but I get to the temple frequently, how random is it? I unlocked all characters in Spelunky on XBLA pretty quickly but this one is being a pain

Try to remember what major area you were in when you found Lime, Purple, and Cyan. Yellow will be wherever they weren't.

Like Revelanth said, the last of those 4 characters is typically found in the temple, because players tend to spend the least amount of time and do the least amount of exploring there.

It's been almost 5 months since I unlocked all of them, I recently started playing again. The character won't be in the city of gold would he?

No, only the G. monk can be found there.

WTF I've looked everywhere, how long would this take? I get to the ice caves 85% of the time on my runs to hell so I'm assuming its in the temple but I can't find it when I start the shortcut

Well, just keep trying by using the temple shortcut. Search thoroughly for it on all three levels. It is totally random whether it will or not spawn in the current seed.

Huh, that's the only character I'm missing as well. I guess I will search the temple more thoroughly.
