warning: ice cave ankh bug

WARNING you could die this way

I was in the totem level of the Ice Caves, and I had the ankh, so I jumped into the abyss to kill myself. Only, I didn't jump the normal way. I grabbed onto the ledge of one of those falling platforms, thinking it would be fun to ride it to my doom.

So I died, and the ankh resuscitated me inside the totem. But then a bug happened! The camera flew down to the abyss, and I died a few seconds later! The game over screen said I was falling into the abyss. My guess is that the game still thought I was holding onto the platform and falling, or something. Hummmm.

I hate to necro, but I was just about to make the same thread after discovering this on my own just now. Did the same thing you did: had the Ankh, grabbed on to the ledge of one of those falling platforms and let it drag me down to the bottom of the abyss. Ressurrected inside the statue, got the hat, then the game told me I was dead. gg no re.
