rope
I can't the rope to appear either with an xbox controller or by using the keyboard. Is there any solution?

Default key is A on keyboard, don't remember for controller.

You're sure that you haven't run out of ropes?

I can't even get past the 2nd tutorial since I can't access a rope, so it's not a matter of running out of ropes. I can't get a rope by pressing a on the keyboard either. I'm thinking about deleting the game and redownloading it if Steam will allow.

You don't start with any ropes in the tutorial. There are some in the crates below the section where you have to use a rope. Use a bomb to get inside.
