ps5 controller not detecting

using a ps5 controller to play but it's not detecting, do I need an external program?

yes i have playstation configuration enabled, can't access it in game though, error keeps popping up

Hi there; dunno if you're fixed it already,
but check you have a Sony Firmware Updater for downloading (WIN10);
so far this trimester, 2 updates have appeared.

My Dualsense stopped working with
the regular charge USB-C cable I had after the first firmware update,
switched to a data/charge USB-C cable and it fixed it for me.

Hope you can solve your problem.
