So....how many worlds are there?

Im into my 7th hour and I've only reached 3-1 so far, unlocked my 1st shortcut and workikng on my 2nd. How many worlds are there? I know there's at least 5 because Hell starts at 5-1? Is that all?

Depending on what you count as "worlds". There are also five special stages in the game.

There are four main areas (or worlds, if you will). Hell is a bonus area that you don't have to enter to finish the game.

There's the caves, the jungle, the ice caves, and the temple. Then there's hell, and a few special stages.

Each area has 4 main paths, so there is something like 2-3 which would be Jungle, 3.

1 - Mines
Level feelings (basically sub-levels): Spiders, Snakes, Darkness.

2 - Jungle
Sub Levels: The Blackmarket, The Worm, The Haunted Castle, Caveman village.
Level feelings: The Dead are Rising, Rushing Water, Darkness, A wolf howls in the distance, Welcome to the Blackmarket.

3 - Ice caves
Sub Levels: Mothership, Worm,Yeti cave
Level Feelings: Yeti cave, Aliens, 4th of July

4 - Temple
Sub Levels: City of Gold, Olmec's Lair
Level feelings: Kali Prayer, Darkness, dunno, forgot the rest.

5 - Hell
